Hello all.

I know Windows 7 retail version is not released yet but I was just wondering whether anyone has tried installing 10.1 on it?

Please state the Windows 7 build for information. I believe the official MS release candidate RC is build 7100 and there are later unofficial builds (I can see some 7600 builds floating around).

Just wondering if I will be able to move to Windows 7 once it is officially released or will have to wait for Metastock v11 for example.

Thanks in advance. Cheers.

I haven't seen W7, but I have read it has a native XP compatibility "window" (it's more like a virtual machine from what I have read so far) which should allow MS (all versions which currently work with XP 32/64) to run. I will be interested to see if this is actually the case.

To answer my own question:
Metastock 10.1 Pro seems to install OK on the official Microsoft Windows 7 RC build 7100 64bit. I didn't try to work with the software much but the installation went OK and I was able to start it without any issues and open an existing security chart.
