Powered by Reuter’s data, QuoteCenter provides analytics, news and other financial information to individual traders throughout the world who need data for the different U.S. and international markets.

The QuoteCenter desktop fuses important financial information into a powerful desktop that is designed around the way a person prefers to trade. Traders have the option of using the predefined workspaces, that include Equity Trader, Futures Trader and Forex Trader, or customizing their own personal workspace to view the financial information that they use most. QuoteCenter creates an accurate picture of what’s going in the market, enabling traders to make quick and confident decisions.

QuoteCenter contains many powerful features that allow traders to stay ahead in the markets. Some of these features include the Portfolio Manager, which allows traders to store different stocks and track gains and losses. The Market Watch screen includes over 700 key financial measures that allow you to see almost anything on the symbol selected. These measures can go into such detail as capital expenditures for the recently reported quarter. There is historical intraday data (minute based) going back over 250 days and tick data going back 30 days. This makes it easy to view the intraday history that’s important to the trader. When paired with MetaStock, one could use this data to do intraday back tests.

Additional features include Reuter’s financial news and other third party news. Traders can know what is happening in the markets and around the world. In addition, users can get international data (along with North American data) displays that link all information on a single instrument, an Option Watch screen, integrated market analysis, Time and Sales, and add-on services of global market depth, and detailed news services.

When integrated with MetaStock Professional, QuoteCenter takes MetaStock Pro from a real time technical analysis software package to a complete trading solution. MetaStock customers will no longer have to go to outside data providers for real time data quotes, news and advanced analytics. This integration will allow MetaStock users to obtain all of their financial information from the company that is already providing them with their technical analysis software.
