We are using MetaStock EOD - 'The Downloader'. We have added 4000 above stocks to a folder and proceeded with 'Download Prices' Option. We are using 'The downloader' version 10.1

For 20 mins it did not give any message and was in busy mode. It obviously connected to server and can see the message 'Starting data retrieval'. And we can also see message 'Requesting X stock'.

After 20 mins, it reported that data for all the stocks was not downloaded. But if we have downloaded a stock individually it downloaded the data. We have checked the test report. There are some stocks for which no trade happend till 31 days. But my question is for the rest of the stocks, it should download data. If it is not downloading data for the rest of the stocks, is it writing any log file or log on to the screen so that a user can come and go through the log.

We will obviously use 'Delayed Updates'. When the day starts, some one should be able to see the log.

Please also help by answering to the question, why it was not downloading data for the rest of stocks.
