Hello,
Anyone interested in a data service that mimics the old DataLink Reuters, Sectors & Industries?
I am will be compiling the data for myself and considering using a Morningstar data service. The cost of that service is not too high, but I would like to disperse it if I could.
This requirement comes from the fact that the new Reuters S&P GCIS Sectors and Industries only cover the much smaller S&P universe of stocks.
This new service would provide at a minimum N. American stock symbols by sector and industry 1) via Fire CSV format 2) alternatively, the sector indices compiled with stock by sector data 3) and then later much more sophisticated data content via XML.
I use Fire to select stocks from the entire N. American market and the S&P Sectors and Industries is too small and of little use for this purpose.
Any alternatives would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
