Charts won't wont open or even appear in Vista. I have been told from technical support that it is because my data folders are in drive C. They advised to make templates to covert over graphs but that is not working.

I am using 10.1 EOD

Does anyone has another solution????

Make sure you have sufficient privileges over the folders which contain your MS data; MS will use your credentials to create directories and write new files/update exisitng files in these folders.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Can you be more specific about the sufficient privledges over folders. Metastock program is run as the administrators. My folders security in Vista is set authenticated users. Other apparent options are system, administrators(bob pc/admistrators), users(bob pc/users). Then each of the above have permissions levels

Thanks
