A) While taking a backup of my 'MetaStock' folder (Inside the Equis folder) I'm getting the following message:
"Cannot copy EXBINARY: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable"
Do I have to reload MetaStock?
B) Could you also please tell me which folders within the MetaStock folder have to be copied if one has made changes to Indicators, Explorations, Experts and System Tests? I'm copying the entire MetaStock folder every time I make changes.

It sounds like the Exploration Reports folder is corrupted. You will want to delete the "EXPLORE" folder under C:\Program Files\Equis\MetaStock. You will not lose your explorations, but you will lose all exploration reports.
