I'm getting the following error when starting Enhanced System Tester in Metastock 9.0 pro
Description:
Code = 80004003
Code meaning = Invalid pointer
Source = (null)
Description = (null)
Build: 9.0
File: ST_DBUtility.cpp
Line: 695
Error Type: 0
Error Code: 2
I'm using Windows 2000 sp4. Any idea why and how to fix it ?

You will want to use the JETCOMP.EXE application in the MetaStock folder to try and resolve this:
1. Browse to the Equis\MetaStock folder
2. Right click on ST_Data.mdb
3. Select Rename
4. Rename it from ST_Data.mdb to ST_Data1.mdb
5. Double click on JETCOMP.exe
6. In the “Database to Compact From (Source)” section, Click the Ellipse button (…) to browse to the Equis\MetaStock folder
7. Select the ST_Data1.mdb file
8. In the “Database to Compact Into (Destination)” section, Click the Ellipse button (…) to browse to the Equis\MetaStock folder
9. Select the ST_Data1.mdb file
10. Rename the ST_Data1.mdb to ST_Data.mdb in the Destination field
11. Click the Compact button (all other options can be left at the default settings)
12. Click Exit when complete, then ST_Data1.mdb can be deleted
