Hello,
Is it possible to run an existing Metastock exploration programmatically?

Hi Wabbit,
Thanks!
If I run an exploration by using a macro, is it possible to then access the results of that exploration programmatically?

I guess that depends on what you want to do with it?
You could write an add-in that writes the results if the scan to a database or file, then run the exploration using the script; or you could run a "normal" exploration and copy the results to the clipboard using another script, and then mash the results from there....
If you were more specific about exactly what you are trying to achieve, you'd get better answers! [;)]

Hi Wabbit,
Thanks again.
I'm thinking of saving the results of an exploration to a database, running certain SQL statements against the data and then re-inserting this information into a file location from which I can access it again as a Metastock chart.
