Hi all,
how can i plot a indicator based on 30 minutes chart on a 5 minutes chart?

to create Multi time frame indicators you would need PowerPivots + add-on using time data create external function and the time data localize external function
if your indicator is just a moving average type ,then just expand the length to match the time frame

ty but this isnt what i need...
i need a way to see on my chart 5 minutes frame, a indicator based on 30 minutes chart. my indicator isnt moving avarage ...
is there a easy way to calculate a indicator in a up frame and see in a down frame? without dll o power pivot?

I have tried simply multiplying the moving average in one time frame by the number of bars in the other time frame, but this does not work when using Exponential Moving Averges - at least that's what I have noticed.
The values are close, but not exact.
Any way to get the values closer to each other?

Open the chart in 5 minutes add all indicators you want in 5 minutes,
Now open another window with your chart in 30 minutes and add all indicators you want in 30 minutes
In case you do not want to see the security in 30 minutes, select it and hit <DEL>
Position all windows as you like.
Create a new layout and save it.
