Hello !

I've been arguing with wabbit about the functionality, and after some discussion we realized that there ino way for us to implement it without the original coders help.

I would do it myself if the SDK let me, but as it's impossible, I come here to beg for a plugin to the original coders. :o)

Here's the idea:

I know many small programs ( much cheaper by the way ), that have everything MetaStock have, and PLUS, they have an special tool that I believe it's a MUST HAVE for MetaStock and I'm still impressed it wasn't implemented before for such a big team as yours.

The tool looks like a trendline. You can draw from one point to another. But instead of just beeing an ordinary trendline, It ALSO gathers the price at point A , and the price at point B, and show me ( could be printed above the trendline, or with a hover, anything would fit ), the DIFERENCE BETWEEN THE POINTS, so we can have a PROFIT/LOSS value between two periods of the graphic.

Many many programs have it, cost much less, and have much more functionalities than MetaStock.
I'm still very disapointed at the core team, for still not having such an usefull tool already coded from years ago!!

So please, give us all a plugin, an update, another drawing tool, or give me someway to code it myself, but please do anything !! Don't let it pass by !! It's too good to be left out !!

Absolutely YAMMY - this is really missing - but the more frustrating part is when switching time frames , there is NO option to show or not - the text, trendlines or symbols in place at their positions [both price and time]. This means you need to annotate every time frame separately - not like on stockcharts.
The DTP Price/Time line and Fibbys stay in their original places... so that makes it even more confusing or not - ..

Interactive charting features are missing - moves to a java setting perhaps and to allow Metastock to work with many more multi-tasking processes- as it is way too slow compared to the processing capability right now in PCs.

And toggling the alerts on and off is a nightmare - when there are 10 charts open and all have alerts on them - I want to be able to turn it off - from the alert dialogue box - not from the expert advisor - as many times - if you are in an alert on an Index for example - you never can get to the expert before the next alert notification comes up - so you have to wait til the end of the alert period - 30 min or whatever - before you can access any of the other charts. THE MS solution is to turn off the real time alerts as an option - but that makes little sense if you are monitoring a lot of charts. With Quotecenter or Quotetracker Alerts - the Alert can be turned off from the dailogue box when it comes up - and the whole russy system does not effectively freeze for the duiration of a period. V. frustrating.

Any word on MS11?? - in beta or otherwise??

And thinking I was new to MS, it was probably my inexperience that I was not able to locate/use a tool which would give me the price difference between 2 points on a plot. Also Equis just ignored the support request I sent them twice for this.
Equis just give us a plugin or a new tool for this very basic requirement in charting.
