Giday Giday from Oz,

I get confused with American date style. How can I set defaults for all charts to "day /month/year" format?

Thanks,

Bluey

This is an operating system setting, so change the format in the OS and restart MetaStock.

Thanks Mate, Something must be wrong with Windows XPcause I am supposede to be in dd/mm/yyyy version. I'll try again, if no success I'll reload Windows in repair mode.

Thanks Bluey

MS picks up the Short Date style, but has some limitations or reverts to some in-built defaults in some circumstances...

Like you, I prefer dates formatted as dd/mm/yyyy and this is what appears in MS. I have a different Long Date format.
