Hi all,

when I place a Horizontal Line on a chart I have problems with anchoring because even with the same graph, some Horizontal Lines keep anchored to the level I wanted, but some do change when I change the scale of the viewed time. Obviously I would like the initial level where I place the horizontal line to be respected and not to move when I change the scale.

Someone could help me?

Thank you very much,

Xavier

The Horizontal Line should stay at the numerical value to which it is plotted. After plotting the line, double click on it and confirm that it is actually set to the value you are intending for it and click Ok.

Thank you, I tried and in many cases it worked. What it happens tough is that in some cases when you double click, within the value you see a decimal number instead of the actual value. For instance, if the line in actually at 23.26, within the value you see -0.988649, and if try to manually change, the horizontal line dissapears.

Thank you very much,

hey metarminator..... several questions come to mind...... what method are you using to apply the lines.... are you using the horzointal line tool itself.... or is this line being applied by an indicator..... if it's an indicator, are you overlaying the indicator with out scale........

which version of meta are you using and if you just run your mouse curser over the line, don't double click, does the correct value appear appear ......

and what are you appling the line to, the price bars or another indicator......h

Hi, thank you for your answer, and sorry for the delay, had a terrible week at work.

I am using the horizontal line tool itself. I am using the version 10.1. If I just run the mous curser over the line, without double clicking, sometimes when it fails, you see already the wrong decimal number.

As mentioned, it is strange because when plotting the horizontal line over the same graph, sometimes it shows the right number and sometimes not¿?

Finally I apply the line over the graph I got.

Thank you very much for your help.
