Hello together, @ 1st please stay indulging for my silly questions about MetaStock - i am still a metastock newbie and get only a hot head if i read some user guides 8) I`ll trading the forex @ the next year and wanna get some backtest - also with some indicators too - before i`ll get back on corut then ... In the internet i explored the Internetsite of Roy Larsen. It looks that he is a really really icon of creating metastock formulars. Is it ??? @ his Internetsite I find also the forum.dll data and ask myself what this data is ??? I would lovely copy some of his formulars in my metastock. can i do this simplier with forum.dll. And when YES ??? HOW ??? In my folders at my disk i couldn`t find a forum.dll data - but some other .dll`s of course ... Thanks ahead for answering ! Best regards MS Leopard

hey ms leopard..... the forum dll was written by patrick a good while back..... there are quite a few versions of it..... some have more functions than others.... the functions are used to enhance while at the same time simplify complex coding...... it does this thru functions.... such as,
ExtFml( "Forum.BBandBot", Data Array, Periods, deviations), ....
..... you can download at least one version here...... wabbit also had created a dll and there are some other very good ones in the files section..... such as brads dll....
also in that section is the source code along with a helpful manual......h
