This is my first post so... HELLO EVERYBODY
This is from MS help (...) 2. Right-click on the indicator plot and choose Copy from the shortcut menu. Note that you could also copy the security's prices instead of the indicator (if desired). (...) 6. Choose the Paste Link radio button and choose Csv from the list. Click OK. Csv stands for "comma separated values."
and here is the PROBLEM
after "paste special" into excel data are not formated properly... CSV should format data but it comes like this 2007-12-04,55.0000,55.9500,54.3500,55.0000,63244.0000
Paste special as unicode text solve this problem i mean data are formated
Date
Open
High
Low
Close
Volume
2007-11-21
51.4500
51.9500
51.0500
51.0500
242681.0000
But.... 2nd problem.... data are not updating.... refreshing button/autoupdating, i tried all the ways...
Copy/Paste data from Excel to MS as indicator in new window (as csv) works for me When changing numbers in Excel the same happens in Metastock
I can paste special and choose "paste link" (sry i hope this is good translation i can put screenshot) ....data from MS changing in Excel but it useless bc cant do anything with that CELL FROM EXCEL LOOK LIKE THIS =MetaStock.Chart|'C:\Documents and Settings\SOLARIS 10\Ustawienia lokalne emp\mwl11.tmp'!'\AgoraȦ'
so i cant separate the data
i know that my eng is not to good but i hope you will help me with this coz i give up

I have version 10 and Excel 2002 and it worked for me using both CSV and TXT, data formatted into separate columns. (Didn't know you could actually do this [H]). with using paste special. A solution to the first problem might solve the second so I would work on that first.

Have a look in the Users Manual for OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) or if you have the MDK you can also research DDE.
Hope this helps.
