Should I buy both MetaStock Pro AND QuoteCenter Data?

As you can see, MetaStock is offered in 4 different packages as following:
MetaStock™ Pro QuoteCenter Subscription SOFTWARE ONLY

MetaStock™ Pro QuoteCenter Subscription SOFTWARE AND DATA
$235/mo
$2,400/yr
MetaStock™ Pro 10 for QuoteCenter SOFTWARE ONLY - ONE TIME PURCHASE
$1395.00
MetaStock™ Pro 10 for eSignal SOFTWARE ONLY - ONE TIME PURCHASE
$1695.00
If I buy the 3rd package (Software only - one time purchase), do I need to buy QuoteCenter Data separately? Thanks!

You would still need to subscribe to QuoteCenter Data, yes. Think of the MetaStock Pro Subscription ($100/mo) as a lease to use the MetaStock charting software. You still have to pay $135/month for one of the regional data packages. So you're looking at $235/month to lease the software and subscribe to the data.
The One Time Purchase basically eliminates the $100/month portion, but you still need to pay the $135/month for the data.
