Anyone know how to system back test a commodity with money instead of points. I use End of Day. If so give me an example of how you set it up.

I am aware of the points only box to check off and the part in the manual about doing points only tests. But what I want to do is uncheck the box and use money in the way that you would be leveraged with commodities. Eg, buy a contract of corn with a multiplier of 5000 and system check it on margin. The area that you set the margin requirments is a bit confusing if you buy one contract of corn for say that is leveraged 50 to 1.

I suggest to call the help desk or write an e-mail , maybe if there are a lot of calls about this simulation settings, equis will explain this settings in a better way in manual or the website...

Mostly the suggestion in this forum is to read a document about the systemtester which was written by a user years ago. But unfortunatly the versions of metastock have changed and settings aren't named equally as before. Unfortunatly what hasn't changed is the awful incomplete description in the manual about the price simulations / leverage / margin etc.
