Hello! I have a (probably) stupid question...

Let's say we have companies A & B which we buy both on 1/1/2006 ($1000 each) (yeh..on new-year's eve :p) and sell both on 31/12/2007 (we still love new-year's eve!).

Company A goes from $1000 to $1200 after these 2 years and didn't give any dividends.

Company B remains $1000 but gave an $100 dividend in mid-2006 and $100 in mid-2007.

So by owning these 2 shares we will earn $200 from each. But the System Tester will tell us that company A had a profit of 20% and B a profit of 0%. Which is incorrect, right? So is there an automatic way to add dividends at the end of the calculations or do i have to do it manually outside Metastock? The 2nd option can be done on that simple example, but how am i going to take the "real" results of an indicator apllied, let's say, to 200 different stocks??

Thank you very much,

Termi
