Hi

Could someone possibly assist with MediaSentiment pop up

I evaluated MediaSentiment for Metastock EOD, then uninstalled it "MediaSentiment" but the popup C:\Program Files\Equis\MetaStock\External Function DLLs\auth.htm keep on appearing. How do I remove it permanently.

The directory C:\Program Files\Equis\MetaStock\External Function DLLs is where all your MetaStock addins get installed for use. All you should need to do is clean out this directory of any .dll files and other files that you are not using; their files may have something that looks like MediaSentiment.dll or similar?

WARNING : You should take a back up copy of this entire directory BEFORE deleting anything! Some of the .dll files in this directory come packaged with MS, the remainder will either be functions you have purchased or have picked up form somewhere else. Some of these may contain functions that you are currently using.

If you are confident enough, it might also be a good idea to have a wander through your Registry to manually clean out any remnants that may be lurking there.

P.S. Also, make sure to have MS shutdown when you delete the unwanted files, then restart MS.

There a couple of files in the Program Files\Equis\MetaStock\External Function Dlls folder that need to be deleted (close MetaStock first)

Auth.htm
ERUpdater.dll
