[:$]Calculating the gains/losses on some commodities appears rather straightforward (ex: most grains = $50USD per 1 point/contract move), while some are not so (financials, currencies...). I have been to the official exchange sites to review contract specifications, but still come away with confusion!
If anyone would care to assist my understanding the math this will be much appreciated!
Sell British Pound (BP - Globex) @ 1.99560; cover @ 1.99630. What is my financial loss?
Buy Silver (ZI - CBOT) @ 13.174; sell @ 13.034. What is my financial loss?
Buy 30yr T Bonds (US - CBOT) @ 105.8125; sell @ 106.28125. What is my financial gain?
Sell Gold (ZG - CBOT) @ 657.5; cover @ 656.6. What is my financial gain?
Sell Euro (EC - Globex) @ 1.3494; cover @ 1.3503. What is my financial loss?
