The FAQs on the Equis site say YES, but as I search around the forums, etc., I'm seeing some yes's, then some 'issues', etc. - am not quickly seeing a hard, emphatic YES from the trading community!

Can anyone running MetaStock Pro v10.1 with QuoteCenter on a Vista machine, just please confirm that all is A-OK? I'm purchasing a new machine just for trading this week, and need fellow traders to chime in!

And, if anyone has a recommended laptop setup & specs for real-time trading, running Pro and QuoteCenter, then your advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

hey dawsmit..... my only knowledge is likely the same as yours , just what we've read..... equis states that v10.1 and 10.2 are compatiable....

i use laptops almost exclusively for trading, just about won't use a desktop at all.... my preference has been for dell's ..... but meta with qc or esignal should work well with most any laptop sold nowdays.....

not trying to sway your purchase but dell runs specials all the time..... they have a e1705 inspiron now , 691 bucks off..... been lookin at it real hard myself.....h

Appreciate the quick response - I am partial to Dell as well - thanks so much!
