Hello!
I have a beginner question: How can I add local data? So I created a new security(file/new/security...), but I can't add historical prices and dates...

hi Xabi,
u could import it by using the downloader if u have it in a text file or excel file.
In a text file or .csv file it should have the folowing format:
<NAME>,<TICKER>,<DATE>,<OPEN>,<HIGH>,<LOW>,<CLOSE>,<VOLUME>,<OPEN INTEREST>
<NAME> and/or <OPEN INTEREST> are not a must
the date should be mm/dd/yy
In an excel file the headers must be in different columns.
Of course dependig on what lovcal market are u talking about it is possible to find a data provider, but read metastock help in there u will find all answers
