Have a look at some of the chart controls at Tools > Options > Chart Options, in particular the Show Empty Holidays and Show Empty Weekends settings...

Who is your data provider? It looks they are providing you padded data, where days the stock didnt trade are padded out. If your data provider is using padded data, ask them for unpadded data.
If this doesnt fix the problem... ???
