My laptop battery died while Metastock 9 was running. Now the template icon in the custom toolbar has disappeared. I tried uninstalling, removing registry entries and rebooting, but I am still not able to see template icons. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks for your help.

Did you remove the registry entries from BOTH HKLM and HKCU? If you left the Current User data behind, that may be the source of yor trouble.
