Is there a way to include the Ramona Buy Signal in the following in the exploration ??

Fml( "Rahul Mohindar Osc (RMO)") > 0 AND Fml("SwingTrd 2")>0 AND
Fml( "SwingTrd 2") > Fml("SwingTrd 3")

Thanks in advance

Bill,

I have some homework for you. It will take about 5 to 6 minutes of your time.

Read these two threads, from start to finish, then report back here with your findings:

http://forum.equis.com/forums/thread/22880.aspxnbsp; You MUST read both threads from start to finish, no shortcuts, no skipping over bits. Make sure to visit the links in the posts too.

Wabbit, I know this is the black box and I don't like to black boxes. But I do like RMO and do trade on its signal. I also do get confirmation from other systems before I put a trade like MACD, RSI, STOCH etc... I just want to keep on eye on RBS to see what it says. that is the only reason I want that exploration. Questions for you.

When you say it is dynamic, what do you mean by that ?? and

Is it possible to create the exploration for RBS ???

Thanks in advance,

PS. and yes I read those thread from head to toe, I still don't think we should take this system as joke thou [:D] .

Bill

Bill,

The RMO is not a blackbox; it has been well publicized exactly how it works. The RBS on the other hand is a blackbox, the author Jose Silva wrote it as a joke. The instructions provided with it say it is NOT to be traded in any way.

"Dynamic" means it uses uses hindsight to make its decisions. Now hindsight is a wonderful thing but you cannot trade in hindsight. Dynamic codes, like Zig(), Peak() and Trough() etc use hindsight to make their 'descisions' i.e how does the Peak() function know when the peak actually occurs? I has to wait until the price on the latest bar has fallen x%, if it has then on the peak some number of bars ago it draws a line! Dynamic indicators are how makers of blackbox systemsmake their results appear so good.

DO NOT TRADE THE RBS SYSTEM OR USE IT AS PART OF ANY OTHER TRADING SYSTEM

for purpose of insurance assessment, no doubt? we're getting lots of storm damage, flooding, road collapse, trees uprooted, death & destruction & general mayhem right here in New South Wales. "taken by storm" would sum it up nicely.
