I was a reluctant SQL programmer in my former life and I don't want any part of writing script now. I'd rather play golf and diddle-diddle-dum all day long. (Fiddler on the Roof) That being said, I just ordered John Murphy's CPR as an add-on to MS10. I also have Performance systems Plus (for a reference to this question). Can I get some feedback on the viability of this add-on?

Thanks for the help,

CSBRO

Have a look at Thomas N. Bukowski's free pattern recognition software at http://thepatternsite.com/index.html. If you have read his books, you will be familiar with his methodology, if not you would be well advised to read them before trading patterns.

As for the CPR add-on, a lot of patterns are poorly identified and . Aside from the above, if you were interested in trading only triangles (the most common and efficient pattern), have a look at Triangles II by Trading System Analysis at http://www.tsagroup.com/. For double and tripple bottoms/tops there is free code in the internet to be used in explorations.

regards.

Maurizio
