I am trying to load about 3 years worth of 1min OHLC ASCII data into MetaStock using The Downloader, but it quits the coversion after 65501 bars. Is this the maximum number of bars you can have with any symbol? Any suggestions on how I can get around this, if so? Or have I got something wrong?
I could divide the data up into different segments, but that kills the continuity....
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, mark

Hayseed,
Excel 2007 has grown beyond the 64K limit. Let's hope MS also grows up with time.
It becomes more useful, now that MS has started analysing intraday, tick data of 24 hour markets like Forex.
Regards

64K limit is not serious intraday support....specially now that we're moving towards 64bit OS's. :P
