Great forum!

Any advice on the best way to extract RMO data values for a stock set at month-end intervals? It looks like the "Exploration" function always assumes current date.

Thank You,

Sean

This is actually controlled by Editing the Exploration. Even though you will get a Password box, cancel this and then click the Options button at the bottom of the Exploration Editor. You can control the Periodicity of the Exploration, as well as setting a specific date vs. most recent date.

Thank you, I'll give it a try. After the Exploration is run, does Metastock include a procedure/function to export the monthly time-series RMO values for a set?

Thank You,

Sean

Are you referring to the current month's value? If so you can definitely copy/paste the data in the report into another application such as Excel. If you mean all the previous monthly values for a given security, there is an Inspect button that you can click in the Report for seeing the previous values for a symbol. Unfortunately this dialogue does not allow copy/pasting, but it does have a print option. You could Print to File to get this data out of the report.
