I am new the forum, and I hope I am not posting something which has already been talked to death. A quick look at the recent posts suggests that it has not been mentioned. Besides, this is such a simple request that I hope you will bear with me.

The application title bar, or the chart title bar should display the security name along with the SYMBOL. It is so frustrating to scroll through a list of charts, and come across something interesting, but cannot obtain the symbol. There is even the price and the price change on the title bar, yet no symbol information anywhere!

Secondly, when opening securities in the Open Dialogue box, one can view the security name along with the symbol in Local Data as well as Reuters Datalink. However, in Favourites, one can only view the security name OR the symbol, not both.

It's odd how such simple things which causes great inconvenience has been overlooked all the way to version 10.

P.S. Not sure if it is just me, but posting a message keeps killing my Netscape v.8.1.2 browser.

Regard my 1st problem, I have applied your solution. Excellent! Thank you for your kind assistance. Whether the symbol display should be the default setting is of course a matter of opinion.

Hope my second problem about standardising the Favourites view with the other views (i.e. both name and symbol) will be addressed in the next Metastock version.
