Is there a way to accelerate the downloading process of a chart? I find it very unusual that often it takes several minutes to just open an 1h chart with as little as 250 bars. What is the reason for the delay?
Is it therefore possible that I can simply use the local data and fill the missing bars that occur when not being online? This would reduce the time of opening tremendously.

Is there a way to create something like a list which I can scroll down and open the chart on clicking of a member of the list?

Thanks a lot

Hi,

You can download the intraday data for the pass few days and save the stock symbol to your data folder.

When you want to get the latest intraday data all you need to do is to load your current local intraday data which you have save and MetaStock will fatch the latest intraday data and patch to the missing tick , mins , hour.

This will help you save sometime to get the latest intraday data.
