Good day

I already posted once a related question about the OLE link and would like to “investigate” a bit further on this issue today. I have no particular problem anymore to set up the link between MSP and Metastock. (By the way, I work with end of day data - Reuters Data Link). However, I still don’t have a satisfying solution how to set up a "risk spreadsheet" in Excel by applying the OLE link feature. I would like to see the Excel sheet being updated automatically after eod data download with the Downloader. The only data I'm interested in for time being is the closing prices (for several stocks I have in the portfolio). Is it possible to “link” only the last closing of a stock into Excel ?. If not, is it at least possible to import the data in such a way that the position of the last closing remains always the same within Excel so that I can use the cell in ensuing calculation? Any help on that would be very welcome. Thanks a lot in advance.

Stefan
