When i try a trade strategy on data from, let's say, 01/01/98 to 31/12/05 using, as example, a 40 period Moving Average, metastock compares equity line with benchmark even if the trading strategy starts 40 days after 01/01/98 because Moving Average needs 40 datas to begin working.
What can i do to resolve this problem?
