Have been trying to get MS 9.0 to run on new pc running a trial version of Vista (RC1) 64 bit edition. The file and data server will start but I can't get MS to run. The pc has an AMD Athlon 64 2.4 GHz with 1 GB RAM and using eSignal for quotes. Have tried all settings in the compatibility wizard with no luck. MS will start in offling mode but will not open any charts. The Downloader seems to work OK. eSignal 8.0 works OK. I get two error messages "Password error: DBC Data Manager Reports DM Startup" and "The vendor DLL was unable to attach to the data vendor." Is this an issue that is addressed with MS 10?

hey jw.... by compatibility wizard are you refering to right clicking on the metastock desktop icon.... then selecting compatibility and changing the run as info....
i have not tried vista but seem to remember george has.... he is pretty handy at things like that, perhaps he might know more.... or pyradius....
still studying with v10 but not yet using vista.....h
