well, as i said there is very little to know about the RMO indicator except it works great,
Please check this on how to enter into trades, https://www.metastock.com/customer/training/rmo/ (hopefully you might have already done that)
well, frankly i don;t know what it examines and how it works,
but i really was able to find excellent trading opportinuties with it that worked great. i must say metastock 10 was worth the purchase.
this is solely based on my own personel experience and just for the info i have just been starting to learn tech. analy. since last 2 years, hehe which i did after losing some funds in the stock market,
One more thing, i must say as well, after reading various threads on the forums, many people try to develop their own trading systems and even suggest others to do so, which i think is not everybody's cup of tea.
This i feel is really misguideing to new users who do not have time studying more or don;t have the brains of developing a trading system, just like me, :-)
I have been using 1. Jose's MACD Divergence Kit 2. Profit Trader 7.0 from Walter Bressert's 3. Applied pattern trading 4. recently the RMO - going guns
I have made good money with these kits and i think when we already have such good systems avaliable why strain the brains on developing a new trading system. These systems always work great in trending markets be it bulls or bears.
The best thing to do is to learn these systems throughly and apply them to get the best results. Have trust in them and i am sure you will make good money.
I do not claim or suggest to buy any of the above softwares, i have just openly expressed my views based on my experiences.

From what you've described, the RMO sounds like a blackbox system; that's enough to set off "be careful" alarms all by itself.
I did watch the intro video you linked; interesting, but doesn't tell us anything about how it works. Additionally, searching Dogpile and Google have turned up nothing about RMO; another caution flag.
Is the RMO programming closed (password protected) or open? If open, it can be analyzed and described, so that'd be worth waiting for.
Have fun, be careful, and let us know what you discover about RMO. Thanks.

Has anything been done to improve and/or automate data management? Like, putting symbols in their proper directory, keeping SP500 & NASDAQ folders up-to-date, etc?

Looks like it was wise to wait to load the new version. Equis sent out
an Email today saying that a corrected version was available for
downloading. It appears that the first version 10 had compatibility
problems with plug-ins.
Anyone else get the same message today?

Yeah, I got that email too. I wonder what plug-ins had problems. Oh well, looks like it's time to backup my favorites "folders" and reinstall.

Is the latest version 10.01?
I followed the link in the e-mail, downloaded the file and installed. The new install version says that it is 10.0 but the build date is the day after I downloaded the original 10.0, so it must be newer without a revision number.

The new Expert does not impress me, thus far.
Have looked at the video of this expert since the time of my last post and now have a better appreciation for its potential. New users of 10.0; please watch the two videos for RMO before trying to use the expert, explanation of the method is necessary to fully appreciate its value.

Well, I echo your sentiment about watching the video. The information that is included on RMO in the Mastering Metastock Manual is woefully inadequate. Although the training video on the Equis web site goes into more detail on the application of the RMO, the "system" still remains as black as a black box can be. I went to the VIRATECH web site (veratechindia.com) in hopes of finding more background info on the RMO but no luck. All I could find was an advertisement for MetaStock 10.0.
Why do they call this a system when no formal system is provided? There are new indicators, explorations, and an expert but there is no "system". Are there any performance stats for the RMO method or do we go on blind faith alone?
At any rate, I intend to take a closer look and will take some trades (paper only) and see how she goes but it sure would be nice to have even a general idea on the inner workings of this "system".
I wonder why the training video is only included on the Equis web site as a Flash presentation and is not provided as part of the documentation materials for V10.0. An mpeg video would have been nice.

OK, I found the two RMO videos here: https://www.metastock.com/customer/training/
Previously I saw only the first video that was linked to the Equis announcement page for version 10. Still, it would be great to have these videos in another format for download such as MPEG. These videos are much more instructive than the documentation that is included with V10.0.
Also didn't mean to sound so negative on this "system". All in all, after viewing these videos, it looks like an interesting approach and worthy of some investigation.

Globus,
Can I train with you in using the RMO?
I take long trades with blue arrows on the daily-60m-45m-30m-22m-15m-5m and when the 5m-15m-22m-30m have had a cross of the blue Swing3 line across zero.
Please contact me.

Hello All,
I've upgraded to MetaStock 10 about 8 weeks ago and looked at RMO 5 weeks ago.
I did some paper trades using it and it made good profits.
Last week started with real money and have made some good gains. Gains being for Long and Short selections.
Would like to hear how others are doing using the RMO.
Thanks

using RMO on multiple timeframes for trend, but basing the trade entry on the 30-minute Swing3 cross of zero with the 60-minute blue arrow and blue candles but not yet a changed histogram on the RMO.
Write back.
