I have modified the VB example program VBViewer to extract the metastock end-of-day data, and pass it to an excel spreadsheet and activate a chart that then allows me to capture the users' mouse clicks for start and end periods of interest, from which a number of calculations are performed.

Currently the data is daily. I see a function (unused) to format periodicity to weekly/monthly etc.and would like to use this on the data, but don't see how.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Tks
