I'm looking for a good formula related to 1-2-3 High and Low and the Ross Hook.
Is there anyone that can help me about this?
Thank you
Alberto

With the link, I have tried to copy the 1-2-3 Ross Hook to develop an indicator, but it says "A column reference is not allowed in the formula type"....
Does anyone try it successful?

hey gary..... you must have copied the exploration and are using it as a indicator...... thats ok but you'll have to break the exploration up and place "or" between each columns codes..... take out the cola: , colb:, colc: letters......h

I tried to use this code as an exploration but there is the same error message.
Are you able to use this code in a good way?

hey alberto.... i'm not gettin the error...... look close and make sure the 'cola' and such are not in the explorations anywhere...
after lookin deeper at the codes myself, really not sure if that's how i would have coded it..... we might should try to code it ourselves.....
markets look dicey here today, so my time is limited..... will work on it later.... if i survive the thunderdome that is...... some reading.....h

Hayseed,
I have tried to copy it into explorer, no error. Having a quick scan, no stock has been selected to be 'positive'....... no sure if it really works or not.....
One bad thing as I tried to installed MS 8.0 EOD into my computer with MS 9.0.... The original program shortcut for MS 9.0 EOD refers to MS 8.0 EOD..... so, I uninstalled MS 8.0... unfortunately MS 9.0 Pro doesn't work now.... poor me.... need to install it (or them.... not sure) again...... have you experienced this b4?

hey gary..... don't reinstall meta 9..... only start version 8 by clicking on the icon inside the version 8's folder.... did you rename the orignal equis folder to equis9 or similar and did you rename your metastock local data folder.... if so change the name back to just equis .......
right click on the desktop metastock icon.... look at the shortcut properties..... the target should read "C:\Program Files\Equis\MetaStock\Mswin.exe" /l /e for the offline 9 version....
and the online should be "C:\Program Files\Equis\MetaStock\MsWin.exe" .....
the version 8 must be named equis8 or similar..... both should work on the same machine but only version 9 should use the original metastock desktop icons....
you can create seperate desktop icons for the version 8 also, but its best not to...... do you still have the email with instructions, if so look over it again..... each step is needed.....h
