Hello Friends,

I am having a problem with the iPeriod member of the MSXDataRec structure. When Metstock enters my custom function this value is set to 68, but the help text says:-

iPeriod – ‘D’aily, ‘W’eekly, ‘M’onthly, ‘Y’early etc. blah blah blah

also the field is defined as an int not a char???

Does anyone know how this field is actually populated, or how I could work out if the chart is being view in a daily or weekly mode?

Thanks,
Shaun

I figured it out, it’s the decimal equivalent from the ascii chart

D – 68
W – 87
Y – 89

etc.

Naughty…
