(BTW, apologies if this is a repeat, the forum search does not work) I just installed MS 9.2 (QC version) on a new machine of mine yesterday. It was operating just fine (Offline mode so far) until about an hour ago. Now when I bring up the Open File dialog, or press the New Chart icon, the CPU utilization goes to 50% for MSWin.exe for 12 seconds or so, during which I just have the Hourglass pointer. Once the dialog is open, if I try to navigate folders, the same delay happens again for each change. Any idea what is happening here? This problem makes the application almost unusable. BTW, the only change I made during this time was to write a new EA and two new indicators.

Update: This was a corrupt symbol database. Just a guess by me, but that was it.
