hi all
I created layouts of all stocks in their respective sectors
I keep my data in a folder called Matastock Data\\Au-ASX
when i move my layouts to another machine but the data there is stored in a folder with a diferent name ie shares\\au-asx i then cant view the layouts is there a way around this without renaming the folder?

hey shaker..... yes there is a round about way, but that's not saying its a viable way however..... how many layouts are we talking about.....h

Around 25 sector layouts with each having about 90 charts in them
your help woudd be much appreciated

hey shaker..... 90, eeekkk, that rules my first thought.....
several reasons for not wanting to rename the new folder to match the old come to mind...... if renaming is simply out of the question and if the sub folders are named the same, a temp solution would be just to right click on the new 'shares\\au-asx ' folder, then right click again in a clear place and choose paste..... that makes a copy.... right click on the copy and rename to your old 'Matastock Data\\Au-ASX ' folder name..... that would take less than 2 minutes.....
if we were lookin at only one layout, are each of the charts the same except for symbol ticker or are some charts different in make up.... is this new folder name going to be a permanent deal...... still studyin on it.....h
