I am using Esignal as my data vendor for Metastock pro 9.2 for Warsaw Stock Exchange, I have all my file in local data folder and it save as 15 minute intervals time, so right now I am working with boring :? project to move all those data to 30 minute, so the only way what I think is good to do it to open chart and put periodicity to 30 minute copy this chart and paste it in excel delete last column (open intrest- since stock don’t have open intrest) save in excel format (Microsoft excel 4.0 worksheet) using the downloader I go to convert securities for source choose excel folder choose where my folder is by browse, destination file type metastock folder c:\\Metastock data\\: Warsaw Stock Exchange in options data range nothing periodicity intraday minutes per bar 30 destination append data to end of file , replace matching dates, include open and open intrest, create new files those are checked all other ( traverse destination folders) is not checked press ok so it converting to Metastock format
I go file open found my Warsaw Stock exchange folder and open a stock and found that I have made somewhere mistake: when I open excel to make a paste data , I missing a data value(day like 15-2-03) it show the ####### may this cause a problem in backtesting by enhanced system tester ? or I may ignore the ###### sign because metastock is reading the #### signal as a data #-o
Ps: I am doing only few example of change inveral from 15 minute to 30 minute that why I am asking I don’t want to do all of them and waste my time after all…
The reason I am changing my inverval time is because equis hava a limit of 65000 tick per securities so when I have the 15 minute I can only pull out 3 year of data for testing most plug in and add-onn I need for at least 5 year to work …

After viewing your image, I don't think you have a data problem at all, just a viewing problem.
I think your Date column (A) width is slightly too narrow to show dates after 10/9/2002 - either grab the little bar at the right of the column (between A and B at the top) and drag it wider, or right click on the A to enter a new value for Column Width. When you see #### in Excel that usually means it's masking data that's too big to display in the cell.
I bet that fixes it and you'll see all the dates. You could also do a couple of other things to help it display:
- Switch to a smaller type font
- Right-click on the A to format the entire column; set the Date format (under the Number tab as I recall) to display only the last two digits, like "10/9/02" - that should fit your existing layout.
I have some monster workbooks for my business, with dozens of columns, and have used all the above techniques to get everything to fit and display on my screens, even with three 19" flatscreen monitors.
Side question: do you really need 5 years of either 15 or 30-min data for your analysis? That's a huge pile of numbers to crunch for any analysis! Whew.
