Hello! When I run Metastock, I always get the Tip Of The Day, which I like very much! :) Yesterday, I found out, that one should be able to simply copy a chart from Metastock to Word with the function of "copy". Well, I´ve eagerly tried this for a couple of times and sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn´t. I can´t figure it out, what am I doing wrong. When the copying fails, the chart in Word is pasted with it´s background only, with missing indicators and price charts. I only get a blank background. To understand my trouble better, here the link to a screenshot: http://freeweb.siol.net/henriks1/screenshot.png

This may not be the best solution for your needs, but I've had very good results using Print Screen Deluxe, which can be found here: http://www.americansys.com/psd.htmoad and try it before buying. I'm currently using an older version 4, but may upgrade after looking over the features of the current version 6. Hope this helps you.

PTJim: I´ve used the "Send" function in Metastock until now and it generated a 4MB .BMP file of the chart. The quality is good, but copying direct from MS to Word produces far better results. Anyway, thansk for your tip. StorkBite: Thanks. I´ll try this when I get home - I´ll let you know if it works for me.

A little while a go I found a very nice little application called "Grabby" that saves the contents of the clipboard into a .jpg file or .bmp file in the folder of your choice. Its really easy to use and its free! I leave my application running all the time, so whenever I take a screen grab I know where the resultant file is located. Try "Grabby" from http://www.game-master.net/pages/grabby.html wabbit :D
