I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE EXISTING SYMBOL WITH NEW SYMBOL. FOR EXAMPLE THE PREVIOUS NAME OF THE SECURITY IS TITAN, NOW ITS CHANGE TO TITANINC. HOW COULD CHANGE IT WITH NEW ONE AND MANAGE THE NEW AND OLD DATA AFTER THAT.
PLS ADVICE.

You can use the Downloader to do this. Just open the file and change the name. When you close the dialog box, it will ask you to save the changes.
Please do not post in all CAPS.

Ok i will do the same.
But i want to know whether new and old data can be merge automatically or either of them will be lost after changing the symbol.
which one will remain ?

The Downloader will add records to the end of the existing file, so the data is merged.
