Diret connection to brokerage data feed like Medved

I would like the ability to connect Metastock directly to my Ameritrade account for real time datafeeds like the Medved quote tracker does
If Medved can connect direcelty to so many brokerage datafeeds for real time data, I don't see why bigger more expensive programs like Metastock can't.

Tasks like this can be done with 3rd part programs such as those offered by MetaServer.
