I run two hardrives and back-up a copy of C:\\Shares once a week. If my C:\\ drive karks it I have a copy on D:\\ drive. Others may have other suggestions.

Hi,
Thanks.
I have tried to copy all of Metastock on a CDW but it fails time and time again.
I ended up copying the graphs and indicators ( whcih must be updated each and ever time). A tedious process.

hey coyote..... depending on just what it is your wanting to back up, almost everything is straight forward.....
the organizer allows for back up of all indicators , experts, explorations and such..... those can be saved in a folder or burned on a cd.....
the 'metastock data' folder can just be burned to a cd also..... that will backup all data and smart charts.....
there are a few other files such as your web resources and such..... making a copy of the equis folder will have very limited practical use..... an idea of contents ......h
