in the brouse folder section, when you click on a + folder, it takes a while for the list to expand. Is there a way to keep the tree in an expanded mode?
I don't know. What I do is open a new window in my browser from that page and navigate from there. That way, I never have to close it and then re-expand it.
I will ask for available options to see if we might have the expanded view as a default view.

Sorry... I'm told that there is no known way to do this. Maybe we can add it to our Forum Wishlist?!

my browser might be reacting different but the folder list stays in the open form.... or at least on the 'http://newforum.equis.com/files/default.aspx' page.... the folder list appears to be just gif images and not the common javascript foldouts....
the inclusion of something along the line of "target="_blank" should open pages in a new window.... that would involve adding it to every link.... also your popup setting when need to include the forum as permitted.....
there are also scripts that when added to page will open all links in a new window.... thereby not needing the "target="_blank"......

You have the right location, but you should be seeing a dynamic tree-view browser window in the left margin. That is the feature in question. The action once the link is clicked is operating fine. The problem lies in exiting the files area and then coming back to it. Is it really a problem? Maybe not, but it should be smart enough to remember the last state... that's all.
