Lettin the NFA have a go right now. The get first pass. So... I have this problem with my cats clawing my curtains (they are loads of fun evidently) and couch... bad kitties. After fretting for a little while I did an online search and found these babies. www.softpaws.com And don't all these kitties look cute with their colored fingernails??? http://www.softpaws.com/gallery/ So I ordered them... and they arrived today. This evening I decided to pop them on... lol can you say battlescars? The cats are fine now that they are on... but omg! did we have a fight getting those things on... and now, no one is speaking to me! My couches are happy but my kitties... they are [censored]ed! Lol! How is everyone here??? Marilyn

You should try them... now that the blood is drying (on me not the cats) I think it was well worth it. It was a little funny to see them try to climb the fence this morning... no more bird catching because they can't get up in those trees. :) I will keep you posted The google girl huh?? I saw her... those are some mighty big OO's :) M

Hi Ralph! :) How is it going?? Yes, I still have my tank! I know what you mean about obsession though... I am constantly adding things to my tank. There are some really bad photos here - http://www.utahreefs.com...orum_posts.asp?TID=11983 - my sinularia looks sick but I had just changed the flow. I was going to say he looks better but I got a big fuzzy green mushroom that is about 10 inches across and they were having a chemical war... so I have just moved it into the corner. What kind of tank do you have? What kind of coral are you doing LPS or SPS? I don't have enough light (or money) to do the hard corals... but they are beautiful. Will keep you posted on the website.. :) Talk to you soon! Marilyn

Hi Marilyn, Its going alright..I guess after a really bad week trading.(lesson well learned-I hope). I have a green open brain coral-pretty interesting putting a tiny piece of shrimp and watching it swallow it up slowly.I bought a pompom xenia very interesting watching the pumping action and some green and kind of like orange zoas. This is all new to me.I found some sites.going to try posting the links -I don't know if it'll work, but here it goes: http://www.reefcentral.com/ ,http://www.extremecorals.com.I'm doing mostly soft corals,I hear they are easier to keep My tank is 40 gallons with a sump under the cabinet and protein skimmer.I will see if I could post some pictures have to figure out how to upload to the computer.Talk to you soon.Ralph

 Sorry about the rough week. I have lots of those... even at .10 a pop. :) I love reefcentral. It can get a little heated so I am pretty quiet there.. Haven't ever been to extremecorals so I will check it out. A great place to get frags if you don't have a good local user group (my one here is FAB!!! We get together once a month, at least 100- 150 people. And we bring in speakers 4 - 5 times a year) is frags.org You can search by your area too. Do post pics when you can figure it out. Or you can post them in offtopic on utahreef.com We are a friendly bunch over there.. :) Looking forward to checking out your reef! :) M Don't look now but I am having a cyano outbreak... :( I am a badddd over feeder. But my fish are happy

Hi Marilyn! Between the kitties, the new website and the fish tank, it sounds like you have a lot of adventures to keep track of! Great to hear that things are going well with your new work gig - we sure do miss you here at Equis--seriously, we really miss your vibrance! Things are great though. Discussions were going back and forth about having an Equis summer party at some type of water park--uh, hello--I don't want to see everyone who works here in a bathing suit :mrgnr: No thanks! Oh, we're not supposed to talk about work in Chit Chat, so I'll stop. Anyway, just wanted to give you a shout out. Ta ta! :D Kate

Hi Kate! :) I bet it has been a lot quieter there... You still have Scotty though! He is a fireball! I have finally broken everyone here in I think. They are all so lovely and quiet... I think I kind of shook things up. Though about 4 weeks ago they moved me into a corner office with a door... do you think that is a hint?? Let me just check if the lock is on the outside of the door... Summer party at a water park?? Need the hook up? I can probably still wrangle something. :) I might have to come crashing... though you are right about the bathing suit thing... lol Fishies are good... got TONS of new coral. Still geeking out with the fish club people. We are organizing our summer BBQ - I have volunteered to decorate... :) add to that the kitties, the kid, theater, getting out and about... and yeah.. I don't have much down time. lol.. but if I had it I would fill it up anyway... Say hi to everyone! I will come up in the next week or two on a Friday afternoon and we can do Sushi at Ahh Sushi... :) M
