Hi Is there a way to specify excluding in an explorartion (or indicator) any shares that have gapped up in any of the last n days by more than a specified amount. I know there is a gap up function but a) i am unsure how to say no gap up's in any of the last so many days using the function b) I wanted it configurable as to what a gap up meant, say no gap up more than a dollar or 5 percent. Many thanks David

David, Have a look at the syntax for the BarsSince() function. BarsSince(GapUp())>n might do the trick to avoid gaps in the last n days, but I think you are looking for stocks that have recently gapped, in which case you need to have a look at the Alert() function. Alert(GapUp(),n). You could use the BarsSince(GapUp())<5 but I think Alert() is neater. As for the gap difference, that is just a simple matter of doing the maths on today's open vs yesterdays high i.e O>Ref(H,-1)*x (pct) or O>Ref(H,-1)+y ($) Hope this helps. wabbit :D
