have you ever been at the local watering hole when the bartender hollers closing time...... you're dead in the middle of that metastock trading idea break through with charts and indicators all over the place in various stages of completion..... what to do , what to do..... if your thinkin of the tools->options->general->click 'restore workspace on start up' route, yes that works.... the drawback is you must save each chart individualy first.... which involves choosing a name and place.... try that for 15 charts and the discomfort of it will be painfully obvious..... when in a rush, keep in mind the create a new layout option.... a temporary one night stand layout, so to speak...... just throw everything into a new layout and save.... try that 1 time and you'll see how quick and painless.... later at opening time everything will be as you left it.... so think layout the next time you hear, "Closing time - one last call for alcohol, so finish your whiskey or beer."
