g and i have been talking about the pros and cons of the metastock online toolbar..... it probably was once a nice idea that technnology has been slowly replacing the need for.... by that i mean, many trading programs have moved from our local computors to being web based .... which is far better..... still, while g and i might not find the toolbar of high value others might.... we can have meta actually start up etrade pro..... not much point in it though.... in my case, metastock will allow different platforms, etrade pro, etrade markettrader and such to be open at the same time but it will not allow 2 seperate etrade accounts to be open at one time.... and even if it did, my fear of running multiple real time apps on one machine would prevent it..... my need for multiple accounts and multiple platforms running real time at the same time rules the toolbar out..... but again, that toolbar might be very useful to others..... by using the trading options we can place in it links that open to the proper order page.... selecting csco and clicking trade brings up the order page..... we can also have meta bring up the actual seperate buy or sell pages..... we can have the toolbar pull up order pages from multiple brokers.... we can also use that trading bar in manners not intended.... did ya notice some unusal tickers in that list, such as globex, etrade, equis, roy and jose.... selecting one of those and clicking trade will bring up their sites..... metastock will let most anything be placed in the trading toolbar, even a chessy photo of days gone by.......h
