After a system hard shut down, I am unable to open MS V. 9.0 EOD in Windows XP. When the MS Splash screen appears I receive the following message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:\\Programs\\Equis\\Metastock\\MSWin.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. and then MS shuts. Can anybody direct me to a solution to this problem? Thanks and regards.

I have the same problem with the Visual C++ runtime error when trying to boot MetaStock 9.2 pro realtime with Quote centre fdata feed.

Is there a link to a solution?

Can we put it in the KB in the FAQ.

Thanks

J.

Possible solutions delete mswin.exe file and replace with a recent back up of mswin.exe

or

delete all Metastock files and reload

Anyone else with any ideas?
