Who is your data vendor? Which version of the DownLoader did you create the NYSE securities in? Which vendor tab was selected on the "Vendor Selection" screen when you clicked Tools>Download Prices>OK?

Data Vendor is Reuters DataLink. The downloader is MetaStock QuoteCenter version 9.1. Last week there is no problem downloading with my old batch of historical data. But today when I create a new batch of historical data and try to download it prompt me unknown symbol. For the vendor selection I select Reuters Datalink. I also tried QuoteCenter too still prompt me same error. At the Reuters Datalink Advanced Options: Address : quotes.reutersdatalink.com Port : 7985 I also tried Port : 7989 Try Singapore Stock Exchange data no problem but NYSE cannot don't understand why.

What Reuters Data Link package do you have? If I can get your User ID I can check this out. Doc

Did you create the New batch of securities after installing MetaStock 9.1 for QouteCenter? The QUoteCenter symbols are different than Reuters Data link. I suspect the symbols are for quoteCenter. Edit a security file and see the symbol. if you have the us; or example at the beginning you need to change the downloader. Please contact MetaStock Support. Doc

Yes I install MS QuoteCenter 9.1 and then create new batch of data. If so because of the QuoteCenter what should I do?
